It may not always be a party...but it's always a "festa" with a Tempesta! :~}

Have I told you lately that we LIVE football?

One of the football parents was able to get the Pee Wee team tickets to the Pre Season Bucs vs. Dolphins game. The kids were extremely excited to go and much to my surprise, I had a great time. The thrill was in watching the boys get excited over a touch down, or simply seeing a player wear the same number as they do. We had a large group and I was worried at first. But, the boys sat together and did fantastic for almost the entire game!

If you know us, you know we aren't really football fanatics, so it should be of no surprise that Scott actually tried to catch some zzz's while the game was in progress. Branden found this funny and wanted to record it. He has the Flip video camera 2" from his face and he doesn't even know it.

The boys getting very excited about a touchdown. This scene truly was the best part of the evening.

Remember, this game took place on a Saturday night. These boys have to be AT the field by 8:30 am. I highly doubt any of them napped inbetween the games. This is the group that was still hanging with the crowd at 10:00 pm.

A few Saturdays later, Kolbie was invited to a birthday party. You guessed it. Football team and football theme. The final count ended up consisting of about half of the Pee Wee players and they had a blast playing mini golf and getting some time in the batting cages. Although, I honestly believe they wanted to go huddle up and tackle on the driving range. Eh...I'm not so sure the grown men that were there trying to improve their drive would have appreciated that. ;)

First Day of School.....a month later ;)

So, I'm a little behind. Here are a few pictures of the kids before the school year 2011-2012 began.

B typically refuses to have his picture taken at any given moment and the first day of school is no exception. However, he did allow me to snap this picture of some spider man underwear that he found while school shopping. He admittedly said "I feel weird saying this, but I kinda want these." One day, he'll look back at this picture and wish he had seen things my way and just posed in front of the school. ;)

The Art of Annoyance

Some of you may know that our 1st born channels Howie Mandell and his OCD. B gets angry at Kourt for her less-than-Branden level of hygiene. Kourtnie and I are both fortunate enough to have thick hair....but this leads to much of it coming out upon a good washing. It often ends up in the drain in the shower where it sits for who knows how long. B was complaining about this and although I understand, I tried to explain it's sometimes hard to manage while your hands are wet. I asked Kourt to attempt to do a better job "managing" it. Fast forward a few days. B comes up to me still dripping wet from the shower just a tad disturbed at something he found and he made me go look. I know I should not have laughed, but I simply couldn't help it. Below is a picture of what Kourt left for Branden. Technically, she did manage it better. After the laughter subsided, I made her clean it up. Branden "Howie Mandell" Tempesta is recovering just fine. ;)
